With the rise of internet usage in the technology-rich 21st century world, it is paramount that we all take steps to ensure our children are protected and know how to use the internet safely.
We take e-safety extremely seriously at Lightwoods Primary Academy and aim to deliver a high standard of understanding to equip both children and parents with the knowledge and integrity needed in order to stay safe online.
E-Safety is a key part of our curriculum. We routinely educate children as part of each computing lesson as well as assemblies, house days and safer internet day. We also aim to inform parents on any developments in regard to; websites, consoles, games, and apps which may cause an issue.
You can view our ‘E-Safety policy’ under the ‘Child Protection & Safeguarding’ policy.’
